Marino Lawyers: 34 Years Strong

The month of March marks our anniversary for providing legal services and this year we are celebrating being able to continue 34 years of practice in the Far North.

Marino Lawyers would like to thank the Cairns, Douglas and Cassowary Coast communities for their continued support and allowing us to be your family’s lawyer. 

Our History

The business commenced as Marino and Smith Solicitors in 1988, established by Charlie Marino and Peter Smith.

Ownership of the Firm recently changed in 2021 with Charlie handing the baton over to locals, Latisha Cali and Maree Mazur. Charlie has continued with the Firm as a Consultant.  

Continuing the service

Latisha and Maree were both Associates of the Firm, working alongside Charlie since 2014 and 2017 respectively. 

As new business owners, they have hit the ground running; having to cater to the high demands of the current market — especially for Conveyancing and Wills — and have also faced the challenges imposed by Covid, as have many others.  The Firm has welcomed a number of new staff over recent months. 

Latisha and Maree are honoured for the opportunity to continue servicing the local community, and are overwhelmed by the support of the community and their team in their new roles.
